As we continue our celebration of Manufacturing Month, we’re introducing you to the hardworking and dedicated people behind our products. Meet Mevludin Mesinovic, an Engineering Technician in our Work Furniture business!

Mevludin has been with Davidson Plyforms in Grand Rapids, Michigan for 26 years. He joined L&P in July 2000, shortly after arriving in the United States from Bosnia and Herzegovina. Over the years, he has held several roles, beginning as a press operator producing upholstered-grade plywood components before advancing to work on exposed-grade components. Today, he serves as an Engineering Technician and is part of the product/manufacturing engineering team.

“I enjoy working with our employees and looking for ways to improve our processes every day,” says Mevludin. “Being part of production for many years gave me the opportunity to learn our operations and identify areas for improvement. Asking questions, listening to employees and helping train new team members are some of the most rewarding parts of my job. Good training is essential to what we do and how we do it.”
