Every day, our custodial professionals help keep our facilities clean, safe and welcoming. Today, we recognize and celebrate these dedicated team members whose work supports our employees, operations and workplaces. While much of their work happens behind the scenes, their impact is visible across our locations every day.

In honor of National Custodian Day, we’d like to introduce Joe Tesky, who has been with Leggett & Platt for 30 years. Joe serves as a janitor at our Rensselaer bedding facility in Rensselaer, Indiana. We asked Joe about his role and what he has enjoyed most during his three decades with the company.
What do you enjoy most about your job, and what keeps you motivated each day?
I enjoy the opportunity to spread smiles and good vibes to all of my co-workers.
What is something people might not realize about the work that goes into keeping our facilities clean, safe and welcoming?
