Our team at Leggett & Platt Flooring Products – Aurora in Aurora, Illinois, prioritizes coming together to spend time and make connections.

They recently held a luncheon in celebration of Mexican Independence Day. Team members contributed different dishes and gathered in the break room.

“It’s one of the few times we can all step away from work, be together, and be us,” said Ruby Bahena, Routing Coordinator. “We create moments of connection when we set up lunch ideas or plan birthday celebrations.”

Putting people first isn’t just a value the team talks about. It’s something they live out every day.

“Putting people first means prioritizing the needs of others. This could be as simple as allowing a team member to take an early lunch during your scheduled time or stepping in to cover for a colleague,” said Ruby. “It also extends to our customers – putting them first by actively working to meet their needs and exceed their expectations.”
